At Suffolk County Council’s own Baiting Hollow Scout Camp, with sleeping accommodations in the McMorris Lodge or tent camping – Troop Scouts, and Leaders, please come and join us for a great and wonderful Campout! We will be hiking in the morning on Saturday and signing up to use the rifle range on Saturday for Scouts who are 12+ years old – subject to availabilities at the camp. Great River Fire Department, River Road, Great River – rear Parking Lot at 6:30pm, Friday, March 20, 2026. Please be at the Firehouse at 6:00pm, for the 6:30pm departure. |

Around 10am on Sunday, March 22, 2026. |

Cost |
$35. per person for the Cracker Barrel Friday night, dessert on Saturday night, and camp cost, plus $25. Cash for the Patrol food for the weekend = $50. Scouts and Leaders, please bring $25 in cash for Patrol Cooking to the March 19th Troop Meeting. |

Dress/Packing |
Class "A" Uniform for the Trip out to camp on Friday and return on Sunday and warm street clothes the remainder of the weekend.
Sleeping bag, warm clothes, warm winter & lighter jacket, hat, gloves, boots, hiking shoes/boots and extra pair of shoes. Backpacks preferred since we will need to hike in all your personal gear to the Cabin and lean-to site. Camp chair also suggested. Please also bring Mess kit (washable plate, eating utensils, and cup). |
