| Leaving |
Friday, January 7, 2022 promptly at 4:00pm, from
the Great River Fire House. Please arrive by 3:30pm to
pack the vehicles. Bring a bag lunch for Friday dinner.

| Itinerary |
We’ll
be staying and sleeping in the youth hostel at
Shawnee Presbyterian Church,
Shawnee Church Rd, Shawnee on Delaware, PA. Friday &
Saturday Nights. Breakfasts and dinner will be at the
youth hostel. We will go skiing / snowboarding at
Shawnee Mountain in East Stroudsburg, PA with lunch at
the mountain. Snow tubing (1 ½ hour sessions) throughout
the day at an addition cost- see cost list below. |

Breakfast, we’ll be heading back home, with an expected
arrival time around
noon. |

$100.00 per person (paid at signup),
which includes the lodging at Shawnee Presbyterian
Church,
food for the (2) Breakfast & Dinner for the
weekend, gas & toll money for the drivers.
$25.00 per person (cash),
lunch at the mountain cafeteria
All lift tickets, ski rentals, helmets, 1
½ hour snowtubing session and lessons (if interested)
are
booked ahead of the trip on Shawnee’s website –
www.shawneemt.com.
Estimated costs are lift tickets- scouts
($60) adults ($80), helmet ($15), ski rental ($42),
snowtubing ($45 per 1 1/2 hour).

| Dress/Packing
|
Class "A" Uniform for Friday and the return trip on
Sunday. Bring sleeping bag, camp chair, mess kits,
eating utensils, snow boots, snow pants, warm winter
jacket, sweatshirt, hat, two pair of winter gloves and
two changes of street clothes for Saturday. You will
also want, flying saucers, snow mats, or small flat snow
sleds (no rail sleds like a flexible flyer).
Ski gear if you’re skiing on
Saturday. |
