This should be a good Merit Badge for new Scouts sine it will satisfy the swimming requirements for Tenderfoot, Second Class, and First Class. Bring a pair of long pants and a long sleeve shirt which can get wet.  They must be a material which will hold air when it gets wet.  Do not use sweat pants or a sweat shirt.  Nylon Wind Pants are good as are long Scout Pants and long sleeve Scout Shirt.
